The eighth edition of Ver y Revelar (Seeing and Revealing) began on a sunny fall afternoon at the Solterreno Center, located in Vall de Laguar, a beautiful valley surrounded by almond and cherry trees, offering incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Three days spent together to awaken creativity, curiosity for self-discovery, and inspiration to embark on a personal photography project.
Each Ver y Revelar is unique because we, the participants, are all different. Each group creates their own opportunities for growth.
We have learned about the transformative and projecting power of images. Photography speaks volumes, providing direct insights that resonate deeply within our emotions, breaking down barriers and making us aware that reality can be seen and revealed in a different, more authentic, healthier, and happier way.
The images each person creates depend on their own story and unique way of seeing life. They reveal emotions and hidden feelings, conveying individual messages not only to the creator but also to those who view them.
Throughout this experience, we started a personal project using collaborative creativity. This involves working on projects that take shape within a few hours yet carry such emotional impact that they leave a lasting impression for a lifetime.
We are filled with joy because the Ver y Revelar training experience has ignited excitement, fostered creative minds, and sparked curiosity in discovering beauty and art in the ordinary, considering photography is an excellent tool for self-discovery and personal growth—a gateway to a new hobby, a journey to discover who we are, and finding and recognizing our strengths.
I would like to thank these incredible people for being here and for their bravery and trust: Adela, Andrea, Adela, Verónica, Sònia, Tiina, Maribel, Gracia, Sabine, Pablo, Antonio, Cristina, and Almudena. Thank you for making this possible.
