Workshop taught in English.

Traveling is about more than simply changing places. It is about letting something shift within you.

That was exactly what happened on our journey through Greece: an outward shift that opened a whole new world within. Athens, Delphi, Meteora, and Nafplio were not only destinations. They were mirrors. We returned different, with new words, new questions, new silences. On every journey, something in the way we see, think, breathe, and connect shifts quietly because travel transforms our neural connections, our sensitivity, and our inner rhythms. That is why we created this learning experience: to share what we lived and to offer you a way to travel with us without boarding a plane.

Greece and Wisdom is a learning experience that weaves together Greek philosophy, mindfulness, photography, and reflective writing to help you look at your life with greater clarity, presence, and meaning.

Inspired by Greek paideía, the system of holistic education that cultivated mind, body, soul, and character, this course invites you to walk through four essential pillars that remain profoundly alive today: Logos, the clarity of thought and the word that brings order. Phýsis, the wisdom of nature and of the body. Kállos, the beauty that lifts and transforms. Areté, the inner excellence that guides our choices and actions.

Through mindfulness practices, photography prompts, and reflective writing, you will connect the outer journey through Greece with an inner journey of your own.

This learning experience does not aim to hand you ready-made answers. It aims to awaken your capacity to ask better questions, to see more deeply, and to listen to yourself with greater honesty, so that you can reconnect with what gives meaning to your daily life. The point is not to accumulate knowledge, nor to learn history or philosophy in the abstract. It is to bring experience and understanding into how we think, how we feel, how we look, and how we inhabit the world.

Once you receive the materials, you can move through the experience freely, at your own pace. Begin the journey today and reach each new stop every two days. Four stages in all, with additional content along the way. You will need between 20 and 25 minutes a day to listen, read, and engage with the materials for each stop. You decide when to open them and when to take the photographs we suggest.

Greece and Wisdom is a space to pause, to breathe, to observe, and to understand. A journey that invites you to reconnect with yourself through light, the landscape, the word, silence, and the philosophy that gave rise to our way of thinking.

A journey to transform your gaze, and with it, your life.

From a real journey to a shared experience

Through images, words, myths, philosophy, and contemplative practices, we will walk through plazas, temples, and landscapes, and also through deeper layers of your own experience.

The common thread running through this path is the four pillars of Greek paideía, the system of holistic education that cultivated mind, body, soul, and character.

These four pillars, Logos, Phýsis, Kállos, and Areté, are not only philosophical concepts. They are living forces, ways of understanding life: the clarity of thought, the wisdom of nature, the beauty that uplifts, and the inner excellence that guides.

In this course, we will walk with you through four stages inspired by the deepest places and teachings of Greece.

  • 1. LOGOS – Athens: Clarity and the Word That Awakens
The journey begins in Athens, where philosophy was born, and the word became an instrument of freedom. Here, we will cultivate a critical gaze, mental presence, and the capacity to see with clarity.
  • 2. PHÝSIS – Delphi and Galaxidi: The Wisdom of Nature and the Body
Among the valleys of olive trees and temples dedicated to “Know yourself,” we will explore the relationship between body, emotion, and nature. Here, you will learn to listen to the rhythms of the earth, and to your own.
  • 3. KÁLLOS – Meteora: The Beauty That Lifts the Soul
In monasteries suspended between rock and sky, we will connect with beauty as a spiritual experience, as a memory of the soul, and as a space for contemplation.
  • 4. ARETÉ – Thermopylae and Nafplio: Virtue, Courage, and Quiet Strength
At the pass of Thermopylae and in the luminous elegance of Nafplio, we will explore inner excellence: acting from the best within you, with serenity, courage, and truth.

The Proposal

This course is not a travel guide, nor is it a technical manual. It is a path of self-knowledge that brings together philosophy, photography, writing, and mindfulness. In each stage, you will find:

  • Materials: images from the journey, reflective texts, and narrated audio.
  • Practices: mindfulness, conscious writing, and photography prompts.
  • Inspiration: myths and legends, artists, and Greek philosophy.

Across these four pillars, you will cultivate a clearer, more sensitive, and more authentic gaze.

You will learn to observe the world and yourself with greater depth.
Because the point is not to travel far. The point is to truly look

Welcome to this journey.

FAQs

What specific training and experience does the trainer have?

Amparo Muñoz Morellà (Catarroja, 1973) is a licensed psychologist (CV05104), educator, and researcher with over 25 years of professional experience in psychosocial care through Spain’s Primary Social Services.

Throughout her career, she has supported hundreds of people facing extreme vulnerability, social exclusion, life crises, and natural disasters—always integrating a humanistic, respectful, and person-centered approach into her work. Her approach combines evidence-based psychology with creativity, art, and a deep connection to personal values.

She specializes in Mindfulness and Contextual Psychotherapies. She completed the Advanced University Program in Mindfulness for Children and Adults, as well as a master’s degree in Psychotherapy: Third-Generation Therapies at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). This training allowed her to deepen her knowledge of models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the integration of mindfulness into psychological, educational, and community support processes.

Since 2015, she has co-directed ANDANA—a pioneering initiative that brings together photography, psychology, and personal development. Through this platform, she has led workshops, courses, and conferences, as well as support processes for both individuals and professionals—including educators, social workers, and mental health practitioners. In her training programs, Amparo uses artistic tools—primarily photography—as a means of emotional expression, self-knowledge, stress regulation, and personal transformation.

Her methodology is experiential, creative, and accessible. She combines mindfulness exercises—such as conscious breathing, active listening, and embodied presence practices—with photography and writing prompts, allowing participants to look inward, reconnect with what truly matters, and develop self-care skills. Her workshops are designed to foster transformative experiences through conscious observation, contemplation, and visual storytelling—both individually and in group settings.

Amparo is currently conducting university research on the therapeutic benefits of using photography in processes of self-knowledge and emotional well-being. In her research project, titled Evaluating the Use of Photography as a Tool for Self-Knowledge and Well-Being within the Context of Third-Generation Therapies, she has designed, implemented, and evaluated a structured program that integrates mindfulness and photography practices. This research, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, uses internationally validated instruments to evaluate its impact.

In addition to her work as a psychologist and trainer, Amparo is the author of several books exploring the educational, emotional, and creative value of photography—including Photography to Grow: A Practical Guide for Teaching Photography to Children and Adolescents, Discover Photography: Look, Enjoy, and Create from Childhood, You Are What You Look At, and Photography to Get to Know Yourself. Origin. These publications are intended for both curious individuals and professionals, offering a unique perspective on photography—not as a technical skill but as a tool for personal exploration, emotional development, and transformation.

Amparo has trained teaching teams, therapists, social workers, youth facilitators, and cultural professionals in the use of photography and mindfulness as tools for intervention. She has also worked with adolescents and older adults in community, intergenerational, and recovery processes aimed at restoring well-being after experiences of adversity.

Her work is marked by sensitivity, closeness, professional rigor, and a deep confidence in the transformative power of the gaze. Participants in her training programs often highlight the warmth of her guidance, her ability to create safe and welcoming environments, and her skill in making complex concepts accessible through real-life experiences.
