Reflecting on each of the sins was insightful and broadened my perspective. The way they were approached made pride, wrath, and greed the sins that most mobilized me. I enjoy writing, so for each one, I told a brief story and tried to portray it through a picture. It was an enriching and creative experience.
Sins is one of the training experiences I’ve enjoyed the most—perhaps because it allowed me to work from a personal perspective while connecting photography with my emotions and the world around me.
It was an interesting and fun way to create enthusiasm for photographing things I once considered foreign or unimportant, while also fostering an interest in understanding “contemporary sins.”
