First edition.

Workshop taught in English.

In this educational experience, we will explore the intersection of photography and different art forms from a creative and artistic perspective, using photography as a tool to connect with your work.

Learn how photography can be combined with other forms of artistic expression, such as painting, dance, creative writing, or music. The image can enhance other art forms, and the arts can inspire our images.

We will always approach creativity through personal expression, helping you discover how to develop your authenticity. You will be introduced to artists who have used multiple media, drawing inspiration from the most innovative and groundbreaking art.

Once you receive the content, you can enjoy the experience at your own pace without being tied to a fixed schedule. Starting November 25, 2025, you will receive content every Tuesday and Thursday until December 23, including audio training, profiles of inspiring artists, photography exercises, and recommended music, for a total of 9 sessions. To listen to, read, and watch the content of each session, you will need between 15 and 20 minutes per day. You are in control of when you access the content and create the suggested images.

Engage in creative experiments and connect ideas with processes, objects, or words. These will serve as powerful tools for creation and self-knowledge, helping you enhance your innate ability to think creatively and share and showcase your creations.

You define your own creative infinity.

What specific training and experience does the trainer have?

Amparo Muñoz Morellà (Catarroja, 1973) is a licensed psychologist (CV05104), educator, and researcher with over 25 years of professional experience in psychosocial care through Spain’s Primary Social Services.

Throughout her career, she has supported hundreds of people facing extreme vulnerability, social exclusion, life crises, and natural disasters—always integrating a humanistic, respectful, and person-centered approach into her work. Her approach combines evidence-based psychology with creativity, art, and a deep connection to personal values.

She specializes in Mindfulness and Contextual Psychotherapies. She completed the Advanced University Program in Mindfulness for Children and Adults, as well as a master’s degree in Psychotherapy: Third-Generation Therapies at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). This training allowed her to deepen her knowledge of models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the integration of mindfulness into psychological, educational, and community support processes.

Since 2015, she has co-directed ANDANA—a pioneering initiative that brings together photography, psychology, and personal development. Through this platform, she has led workshops, courses, and conferences, as well as support processes for both individuals and professionals—including educators, social workers, and mental health practitioners. In her training programs, Amparo uses artistic tools—primarily photography—as a means of emotional expression, self-knowledge, stress regulation, and personal transformation.

Her methodology is experiential, creative, and accessible. She combines mindfulness exercises—such as conscious breathing, active listening, and embodied presence practices—with photography and writing prompts, allowing participants to look inward, reconnect with what truly matters, and develop self-care skills. Her workshops are designed to foster transformative experiences through conscious observation, contemplation, and visual storytelling—both individually and in group settings.

Amparo is currently conducting university research on the therapeutic benefits of using photography in processes of self-knowledge and emotional well-being. In her research project, titled Evaluating the Use of Photography as a Tool for Self-Knowledge and Well-Being within the Context of Third-Generation Therapies, she has designed, implemented, and evaluated a structured program that integrates mindfulness and photography practices. This research, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, uses internationally validated instruments to evaluate its impact.

In addition to her work as a psychologist and trainer, Amparo is the author of several books exploring the educational, emotional, and creative value of photography—including Photography to Grow: A Practical Guide for Teaching Photography to Children and Adolescents, Discover Photography: Look, Enjoy, and Create from Childhood, You Are What You Look At, and Photography to Get to Know Yourself. Origin. These publications are intended for both curious individuals and professionals, offering a unique perspective on photography—not as a technical skill but as a tool for personal exploration, emotional development, and transformation.

Amparo has trained teaching teams, therapists, social workers, youth facilitators, and cultural professionals in the use of photography and mindfulness as tools for intervention. She has also worked with adolescents and older adults in community, intergenerational, and recovery processes aimed at restoring well-being after experiences of adversity.

Her work is marked by sensitivity, closeness, professional rigor, and a deep confidence in the transformative power of the gaze. Participants in her training programs often highlight the warmth of her guidance, her ability to create safe and welcoming environments, and her skill in making complex concepts accessible through real-life experiences.
