Teaching photography to children and adolescents is about teaching them how to observe and express themselves through images, encouraging them to observe without filters and with a critical eye.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some parents understand that teaching visual culture and photographic expression is important for their children’s present and future. They are the ones who bring them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some young people love photography and understand that learning visual culture and photographic expression will help them become critical and fulfilled adults. They are the ones who come alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have introduced them to Diane Arbus, Bleda y Rosa, Martine Franck, Barbara Traver, Vivian Maier, Elliot Erwitt, and many other photography artists. Yet, they have also amazed us with the authenticity of their own photography projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching photography to young people sparks learning, reflection, and creativity. Thank you for participating in the Railowsky Special Photography Workshop for Youth. <\/span><\/p>\n
