Knowing who we are\u2014and what we can do with who we are\u2014is essential to achieving happiness.<\/p>\n

Self-portraits are a powerful tool for self-knowledge, offering an opportunity to reveal our bodies privately or share the experience with others. They also help us express emotion and convey our innermost essence. The artist and the model are one and the same. In a self-portrait, every element is intentional\u2014nothing is merely aesthetic. A self-portrait is a map of our inner world: a testimony to who we are and how we choose to present ourselves to the world.<\/p>\n

In the SELF-PORTRAIT workshop, you will explore the potential of photography as a tool for self-knowledge, personal expression, and self-development, supported by a
\ntheoretical foundation rooted in psychology and the creative processes of contemporary art.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll study visual culture and discover artists who have used their bodies, fears, and life experiences to create powerful, transformative work. You\u2019ll learn to express yourself through images and create meaningful photographs as part of your intimate and personal process.<\/p>\n

The exercises will guide you and help direct your gaze toward what you\u2019re about to explore.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through your own experience, you\u2019ll discover that your photographs can spark personal development and creative processes that are more authentic and aligned with who you are.<\/p>\n

There is no fixed schedule. Once you have access to the content, you’re free to enjoy the experience at your own pace. You’ll receive new material every two days<\/strong>\u2014including audio lessons, inspiring artists, photography prompts, and recommended music\u2014for a total of 15 sessions<\/strong>. Reading, listening to, and viewing each session\u2019s materials takes about 10\u201315 minutes. You decide when to go through them and when to create the suggested images.<\/p>\n

The sessions are titled: I Am Movement, I Am Body, I Am Skin, I Am Emotion, I Am Words, I Am Joy, I Am Strength, I Am Pain, I Am Mystery, I Am Tribe, I Am Gaze, I Am What I Imagine, I Am Shadow and Reflection, I Am Time, and I Am Rarity.<\/p>\n

        Psychologist, educator, and researcher in photography and personal development.<\/strong> Co-director of ANDANA and creator of this experience.<\/p>\n

        Communicator with over 20 years of experience in community intervention and social integration through artistic tools. Her work focuses on exploring photography as a strategy to boost creativity, foster self-knowledge, and improve emotional well-being.<\/p>\n

        Through specialized training in Mindfulness for Children and Adults and a Master\u2019s Degree in Psychotherapy: Third-Generation Therapies<\/strong>, she has developed this innovative methodology that combines mindfulness and photography to foster introspection, authenticity, and personal transformation. Her work as a communicator extends through articles, courses, and masterclasses on the connection between psychology and the image.<\/p>\n

        In collaboration with Javier Sancho Boils, Amparo founded ANDANA, a project that combines photography and personal development. Since 2015, they have been leading workshops that use photography as a tool for personal and social development for various organizations and government entities.<\/p>\n
